The Bravo message pager has a four line display screen and can receive and store up to 40 personal messages. Although extremely compact, it nevertheless incorporates many features (such as a zoom facility to enlarge the characters of a message).
A very useful addition with this pager is the ability to enable a reminder alert for unread messages.
For complete discretion, it can be programmed to alert you silently of an incoming message. You can also choose from a range of audible alerts.
You can rely on receiving your messages within seconds. Paging Networks use advanced satellite technology to relay messages to you via transmitters located across the UK.
To send a message, callers simply dial your pager number (which connects to the 24-hour Paging Call Centre) and leave the message with the Call Centre operator.
Alternatively, messages can either be sent by direct input via a PC (with relevant software and a modem) or via plain text e-mail (any plain text e-mails which are received by the pager will display the sender, subject and text up to a maximum of 240 characters.).
Calls to this pager from BT landlines are charged by the length of time you are on the phone. The pence per minute price also varies according to the time of day.
The BT tariff code is 'r - Calls to Pagers & Voice Messaging Services'.
Other operators (including mobile networks) may charge different rates.
